1. Sourcing of Paper
Paper is essential for our products. We partner with suppliers who share our dedication to responsible resource management, community support, and sustainable production. Thus, our goal is to buy all our paper from FSC certified mills.
2. Corrugation
Corrugated products are made from corrugated fibreboard, which is both rigid and cushioning. It combines a corrugated medium with a flat liner using heated rollers.
3. Conversion
UCIC has various converting machines including Master Flexo, Rotary die-cut, Flatbed die-cut, and more. Box styles in UCIC are defined by FEFCO-specified codes.
4. Printing on the Boxes
Printing plates and die-cutting patterns are prepared on rubber or tin sheets. Boxes are trimmed, printed, scored, folded, and glued as they pass through the production line.
